About Me

I, Mandy, attended Iowa Lakes Community College for Massage therapy. I graduated in July 2016, took boards in August, and received my license in the mail the end of August 2016. I am now licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Iowa. I am also a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.

I am a graduate of Emmetsburg High School, and have a degree in Accounting.  I worked as an accountant for 11 years before deciding to go back to school again.  I am asked all the time why I decided to completely switch majors.  Massage therapy has always been a passion of mine.  I would go and get my monthly massages and then would try and recreate the feeling and moves on family and friends.  So when i decided it was time for a change of pace, I decided to go back to school and pursue my dream of Massage therapy. 

When starting this adventure in August of 2015 it was never my thought to go out and own my own business right away.  However as schooling progressed and things were moving along, I decided to skip a step and go right out on my own.
